PPFC in Senegal

What Priory Park FC has achieved is something truly special.

Here in London, our mission has always been simple: football should be for everyone. We’ve proudly opened our doors to all children, giving them boots, kits, and the chance to play the game they love without families having to stretch themselves financially. Because talent, passion and dreams should never be limited by circumstance.

Now, that same spirit is reaching far beyond our local community all the way to Ziguinchor, Senegal.

A group of young boys in soccer uniforms, red and white striped shirts and blue shorts, posing on a sandy field. Some are standing, some kneeling, and a few sitting in the front. Four boys in green goalkeeper jerseys are sitting in front holding soccer balls. A concrete wall and some buildings are visible in the background.
Young soccer players in red and white striped jerseys and blue shorts warming up or training on a dirt field, with some resting against a stone wall and a few adults watching in the background.

Even more incredibly, through sponsorship and fundraising, we have now raised enough money to purchase the land the children train on. That is a huge milestone. It’s proof of what can happen when a community comes together with heart and purpose.

This is bigger than football. It’s about opportunity. It’s about belief. It’s about showing children whether in London or Ziguinchor that they matter, that their dreams are valid, and that they are not forgotten.

We are immensely proud of what has been achieved so far and even more excited about what lies ahead. The journey is just beginning, and together, we are building something that will inspire and empower generations to come.

When Coach Saidou returned to his home village carrying the bibs and footballs we provided, it meant far more than just equipment in a bag it carried belief, pride and possibility. His dream has always been to build a football academy for the children of Ziguinchor. A safe place to play. A place to grow. A place to learn discipline, teamwork and confidence. A place where opportunity begins with a ball at your feet.

And together, we are helping turn that dream into reality.

We have collected hundreds of second-hand boots, trainers, football kits, bibs, balls and training equipment all of which have now arrived safely in Senegal. Every donated pair of boots represents a child stepping onto the pitch feeling included, supported and part of something bigger than themselves.
