CHILDREN SAFEGUARDING

At Priory Park Football Club, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. Every staff member, no matter their role, understands their responsibility to keep children safe and supported at all times.

Four boys are playing soccer on a grassy field. Two of them are wearing orange pinnies, one is in a red and white jersey, and one in a teal shirt. They are focused on an orange and black soccer ball, with trees and a fence in the background.

To maintain these high standards, anyone working directly with children must be trained to spot safeguarding concerns, handle urgent situations, and report appropriately. All staff are required to hold a valid FA Safeguarding for Children certificate and an in-date enhanced DBS check.

We take a proactive, transparent, and practical approach to safeguarding. Our processes are regularly reviewed to identify potential risks and ensure our policies are followed in practice. All incidents or concerns are reported promptly, with the wellbeing of children and adults at risk always held as our top priority.
